#BucketList Travel on Instagram Travel Thursday
Do you have a travel bucket list?
Have you allowed yourself to dream big?
If you could go anywhere, do anything, what would it be?
Have you ever asked your kids or your husband the same question?
We recently went around the dinner table and talked about our travel bucket lists.
My 13 year old son wants to go to Tokyo, he’s heard there are giant robots there. I have yet to google this.
My 8 year old son wants to go to China. Somehow he knows exactly how long the Great Wall of China is (13,000 feet).
When he told me that I had to look it up, I was surprised to find out he was right. He also says that “google told him” that they eat dogs in China, so he’s worried about that.
My family was surprised to learn that I dream of riding a camel in Morocco, while wearing a fabulous scarf. I also want to sleep in a bedouin tent and drink tea from a silver service. My travel fantasies are very detailed.
Capital One made this graphic just for me-which totally thrilled me. Because, well, Capital One, is making graphics for ME.
Sometimes I pinch myself. I dreamed of traveling with my children and somehow turning that in to a business.
My husband said I was crazy, and some nonsense about the IRS.
There is a great saying “Luck is where hard work meets opportunity.”
I’m dreaming big, I’m working hard and as God is my witness someday I will Instagram a photo of me on a camel.
This post was not sponsored, though I am working on a campaign with Capital One. I believe in lists, and travel bucket lists are the very best kind.
