Fashion Friday – Roberta Roller Rabbit

Fashion Friday - Roberta Roller Rabbit
Read Carefully

Today’s Fashion Friday is about one of my all time favorite brands, Roberta Roller Rabbit. I’ve been wearing it a lot and am frequently asked about it, so I thought I’d share. Ten years ago a super savvy friend of mine introduced me to the gorgeous fabrics of Roberta Freymann while we were vacationing together in the Hamptons. At the time, almost no one had heard of her beach brand “Roberta Roller Rabbit”, I still have some of the original kurtas I bought and love them. These pieces are classics that will stand the test of time.

Since then, the brand has grown like crazy. She now has boutique stores both in Greenwich and in Kiawah, so even though I feel like it’s everywhere, not everyone has discovered the joy her fabrics bring. We shot this blue dress in Brooklyn before I left for the summer, I bought the dress last year and they don’t carry the blue anymore, but I bought the exact same style in pink and I know it’s still in stock. I love it in every color, it is cut low in the back, luckily I am so flat chested I can wear it braless. I have worn it over swimsuits and also with gorgeous sandals and jewelry out to dinner, the fabric is so soft (my favorite part of ALL of her pieces) that it’s like wearing a cozy nightie out. This isn’t the exact same print, but it’s very similar, you can buy it HERE.

My adorable niece is visiting us in Kiawah and it just happens to be her 2nd birthday. We threw her a proper party at the beach last night with Veuve, party hats and a pretty pink cake. I dressed her up in a cute little Kurta and we used my Roberta Roller Rabbit quilt. The quilts are made from remnants and wash up easily, I love them for the beach and for chilly nights by the pool.

Paige’s little kurta went on sale for $29, how much do you love me right now? Find it HERE in two different colors. The blanket I own is larger than the one I found online, but you can buy a similar one HERE.

Whatever super model moves you might have pale in comparison to this girl’s. Swimsuit Illustrated can only dream.

The long serafina tunic I’m wearing in the lead photo is as light as a feather, the fabric is wisp soft, I just bought it at the store on sale for $99, it’s on sale online for the same price, I’m wearing an XXS. You can buy it HERE.

My goal in life is for every birthday I have from now on to end with me naked on the beach with an empty bottle of champagne digging in to the cake for sandy seconds.

This post is not an ad and was in no way sponsored, I love this line and think you will too, and when it’s on sale? Come on….
