Tony Stark is alive and well and meeting me at Disneyland tonight.

Disney After Dark is the best event that Disney does in my opinion. The events aren’t widely marketed and I am SHOCKED that there are still tickets available. The dates and structure of these events keeps shifting, so you need to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog. I took the boys to Disney World After Dark in Orlando two years ago and we felt like we had the entire park to ourselves, it was honestly insane.

Tonight I’m putting on my leather pants and hooking up with Tony Stark. This event is proof that Disney gets me, I mean first I got Hit On by Kylo Ren and now this?? Hysterically, this video has over 100,000 views, and I have like 200 subscribers. I am not the only mom hot for super heroes (or villains, whatever).

Tonight’s theme is Heroes Assemble. Right on the heels of Avengers – Endgame, well played Disney overlords, well played. There isn’t a 12 year old boy on the planet who is more geeked out about this than I am.

This is the first time they are doing the after hours events at Disneyland. I’m not invited as press, or hosted, I’m that big of a nerd that I have been tracking this and bought tickets months ago.

All your favorite Marvel characters will be there tonight, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, Loki, Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Doctor Strange.

What to expect at Disneyland Heroes Assemble:

  • Marvel character meet-and-greet photo ops.
  • A superhero dance party
  • A world-saving scavenger hunt and themed food and merchandise.
  • Select rides and attractions will be open during the super hero party, including the Guardians of the Galaxy indoor drop tower.
  • Fun surprises to celebrate 80 years of comic art.
  • Unlimited digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the event.

Wear ’em If You’ve Got ’em – Costumes That Is:

This event is one of the few times of the year that older children and adults can wear costumes in the park. I just realized I “needed” a costume  THIS MORNING. Luckily I have a friend who LOVES costumes. I texted her and asked if she had a Black Widow costume, natch, she does, so I plan to be the short haired Black Widow tonight. My boys are not thrilled by this and I don’t care.
